This image is dominated by crater Autolycus (39 km). The small crater on the rim is Autolycus A (4 km). The rille system Rimae Fresnel can be seen to the left - it is at the foot of the mountain range Montes Apenninus, which is just out of the frame to the left. Though not visible, the Luna 2 “crash site” is just 30 km to the right of Autolycus (at 2 o'clock). The Soviet Luna 2 was the first spaceship to “land” on the Moon. South is up.
