Moon: North West Region

Dominated by the immense basaltic plain Oceanus Procellarum and its northern “bay” Sinus Roris, the North West Region contains some awesome volcanic features, foremost being the expansive lava-carved Schroteri Valley. Volcanic domes dot the continuous lava plain, including Mons Gruithuisen Gamma and the complex Mons Rumker. Bay-like Sinus Iridum is large striking flooded crater.
